Although important things are sometimes invisible and cannot be taught, we can feel and learn them.
The best teacher is always the person who cares about students.
What moves students or what they remember are teacher's dedication to them. I hope I'll remember this after returning to Japan.
I thought everyone was inspired by someone as being a teacher or a person and it was good to have a person in our mind.
We are happy and lucky because we got a chance to see these amazing teachers. If we had not met them, we might not be here and learn together.
These lists help me to think myself and my attitude toward students. I want to keep them in mind.
These words make to think back when I was a student. I was extied in one class or I was bored in the other class until I fell asleep. Being a teacher is really one big rewarding jobs I think. We can make students curious and excited about the world they've never been experienced before. The one thing I've learned from the orientation last Friday and these words is that theachers need to have huge knowleade to understand them, to be patient with them with lots of energy and entertaning souces. Let's rock and roll!
I've been supported by many teachers so far. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. I hopefully would like to be a person who gives hopes and dreams to someone like my teachers. So I'll try to my best.
In our minds, all these great teachers who inspired us. What a fantastic way to start class. This orientation day is really a day to remember.
Sometimes, especially when we are too busy, we tend to forget why I wanted to become a teacher or what my original goal was. But this class reminded me of my first motives for becoming teachers which were inspired by my respectful teacher. Thank you Roger,,, for letting us notice the important thing.
I want to be a person who can give positive influence on others like many UCI teachers do.
Hi, everyone. I'm looking forward to taking same lessons. I also look forward to have a Korean rice wine celemony:-) Study hard together. Now I try to remember your name.
I noticed that we respect our teachers for various reasons. There are many types of children, so we need to think about many different approaches. And also I liked the way of introducing ourselves. Thank you!
Wow! Thank you so much for allowing us to have this great opportunity!!!
I remember many good teachers who taught me. I want to be like them, so I became a teacher. I want to support students. I felt happy that I listened about other members' great teachers.
I remembered what teacher I wanted to be.
All these things are not written in textbooks. It shows how diffcult to be a "good teacher". I got a new understanding of being a great teacher.
I'd like to be a person who keeps improving not only my skills as a teacher, but also my mind as a human being.
I thought again that the most important element as a teacher is humanity.
