There are many different ways for a non English native speakers to strive to become an excellent English leaner. In my opinion, we all know that practice makes perfect, so one can become an excellent English leaner is to practice English with a native speaker. Another way to learn English is be reading English books. By reading the books, we can improve our vocabularies. The more words we know and understand, the easier for us to use the words in our sentences. Last but not least is to learn English as a group. I always find learning as a group is a very effective way to learn anything. When we work as a group, there are more chances for us to understand others' points of view. Plus we can have our group mates corrects our mistakes.

First, be active when learning something and be passive when doing homework.
Second, be positive when hearing something at the class and be negative when reviewing about it at home.

As you know, practice mkes perfect, so try to have a conversation with couragement.

The last one, try to think of the purpose of learning English evertime.
Everyone who wnats to learn English has different goals.

1. Visual Aid (Motion Picture) – watching a movie:
Watching a film would help one understand the daily life of the characters and also enhance one’s daily vocabularies. Even though one might not be able to understand the words yet but by seeing the action of the characters would definitely help understand the word day by day.
2. Visual Aid (Still Picture) – reading comic book:
Reading comics is a great way to understand common vocabulary weather reading Garfield or Marvel. Usually the words used in the comic wouldn’t be so hard for one’s to learn especially for many younger learners. Moreover, the funny characters in the comic also encourage one wants to read more and gradually pick up English without knowing he or she is learning.
3. Verbal Imitation – singing with music:
Music has been a great influence on people and most people are pretty good on imitating the singers he or she loves. By listening to proper music (oldies is highly recommend), one would be able to correct his or her pronunciation and accustom into American or British English accent in no time.

What if you want to be an excellent English learner? Fistly, you should try to expose yourself to Englsih atmoshpere.Non-native countries have not really many chances to use English. In that countries, watching drama, movie and animations in English is one of the best way to make people feel that English is nature. Secondly, try to think in English. Some people think that it is easy to say or write after thinking mother language. However, it makes you more complicated than you think in English directly. First time, it is going to be difficult. As time goes by, however, it is going to be easier. You need to practice.Lastly, don't be afraid of using English. Non-native speakers cannot help avoiding mistakes. It is obviously natural things. People can learn from their mistakes.Nobody scolds you because of that. They might correct your errors and it is going to be your knowledge.

From my experience:

1, We should push ourselves into the extreme situation that only English could be understood by everyone.
It's kind of like here in the TEFL class that we talk to each other in English. Maybe we can try to communicate with our home country friends by English although it might seem strange and awkward, but it's highly recommended.

2,buy yourself a computer or cellphone here in the U.S.
So the working platform will be in English,and you will learn a lot if you use PC or cellphone regularly.

3,find yourself a boyfriend/girlfriend who speaks native English.
That one is conditional, but also quite helpful.

1.Expose yourself to any English media.
For example, when you drive a car , you'd better listen to English news instead of music.

2.Try to read any kinds of materials in English at least one a week.
I preferred to read newspaper.You can easily get one in Ralph in the late night of the weekend for free.

3.Attend the meetings that require speaking English.
I sometimes attend bible study in English.It's a good place to practice your English conversation.

First, if you want to practice English properly then keeping a diary can help with grammar and vocabulary.
Secondly,you have to be strict about yourself to try to not speak your own language with your friends and also stay with a native speaker.This situation will be helpful to improve your listening and speaking skills.

I think there are many ways to become an excellent English learner.
First, enjoy speaking in English will help you even if you are not good at speaking. Don't be scared speaking English. Just become happy to speak in English.
Secondly, reading novel which is written in English. It can improve our vocabularies and make our reading faster than before.
Finally, memorize some vocabularies. In my case, I don't memorize words that much, so i should find some words in dictionary every time I read books. I think memorizing English words will make learn English easier.

1. Review it when you hear or read some new words. Speaking with those words is one of the best way you memorize it.
2. Use your neighbors as your English partner. Some of them are widely opened to have conversation with you. Making friends is helpful especially when you are in the abroad, if they are native speakers, it is perfect!
3. Don’t be just a listener. Asking questions is an important part of the learning process. So, do not hesitate when you have something to ask in your mind.

Firstly,use English when you thinking everthing as possible as you can.Cause language is a habit.
Secondly,watch movie,TV series may help you.In my experience,it do improve my english after watching the whole ten seasons "friends". And it's also an intresting way to study language or culture.

First, Talk to native speakers. This will help to learn proper pronounciation, and speech grammer. I say speech gramers like wrong linking verbs and tenses.

Second, I suggest reading. Reading is very powerful. Reading improves vocabulary skills and sentence structure.

Last, I say REPEAT! Through repeating, English will get better and easier.

To be an excellent English learner, there are some gained knowledge maybe I could share with everyone:

First, do not try to learn English, but live in English. Let speaking and thinking in English be your instinctive nature. For instance, when we are hungury, just think about food's name in English. If we consider the food is delicious, try to deccribe the taste of food in English to our friends. It is really helpful to bring up our habit of living in English, especially for those guys who are crazy about gourmet foods like me.

Second, listen to English music or redio program when you are going to sleep. It could be somewhat harmful to your sleep quality, however, it can help us learn English in subconsciousness. It's cool, isn't it?

Third, shout English for ten minutes before we go to bed. Pay attention, do not disturb your roommates or neighbour. It will actually make us relax and fall in love with English.

Fourth, corresponding to the third, we should speak loudly in English when we are awake to show our energy and passion in a new day.

Fifth, stick the posters of hard words and hard sentences in the most prominent place at home where we cannot avoid seeing them.

At last, wish everyone enjoy learning English.

To become a good English learner, I think that we should take three aspects into consideration such as falling into sea of English, have positive learning attitude, and choosing good teachers.

First of all, falling into sea means getting us to be exposed to circumstances in which we listen, speak English for 24 hours. I believe it is not only fundamental but also essential.

Second, when learning English, keeping active attitudes in real English-speaking life as well as school, enables us to dramatically improve English abilities, I think.

Last, although we do our best in two aspects referred above, it could be difficult to learn it without good teachers. That is because they tend to provide a lot of useful learning materials and effectively and methodically convey the contents.

I think that language is a kind of creature. It may change grammatically or

My first tip to be a excellent English leaner is to talk with a elementary school student, if it is possible. Lean from the basic is very important. It is same as watch cartoon movies, the pronunciation and words they use are very simple and easy to understand.
Second, hang around wherever you like and where you can meet American people. If you like shopping, go to the department store, you will have chance to talk with the sellers there or you can go to pub, to talk and drink with the girls and guys who have same hobby as you do.
Third, write down the words you have heard, but not understood. If you always nodding and ignore the words you didn’t understand, you might never know the meaning of this word in the future.

First, we have to study steadily. It is pretty hard to study everyday without skip. As we know, many a little makes a mickle ! On a specific plan, keep study every single day.
Second, we shouldn't be afraid of speaking English. In my case, I always worried about speaking English uncorrectly when I speak English. It makes me timid and is an obstacle to learners who want to enhance English skill.

1. IQ.
Are you a guy whose IQ score is high? Most people don't believe IQ is closely related to one's ablility to learn a language. I believe though, because IQ Test is mainly about applicant's linguistic and mathematics area.
2. Self motivation.
If your IQ score is below the average, you don't need to give up learning English. Self- motivated students tend to study harder and keep their interest in a language longer than those who aren't. A hardworking Ivan is better than a lazy Einstein.
3. Environment.
Suppose a student whose IQ is similar to a chimpanzee and has no motivation to learn anything. However, if he is raised in a family or a society that speak English, he can stll develop his English day by day. Thus, make your surroundings a suitable one that leads you to think, speak and read English.

1. Be active in classroom even though you cannot understand all of the content. You can never be a good English speaker unless you overcome the feeling of embarassment while speaking English.

2. Watch movies or listen to news everyday. You can get used to the authentic English materials with movie and news.

3. Read newpapers everyday if you want to catch up with the current issues and irrelated vocabularies. When you are abundant of the vocabularies, you can easily communicate the issues more easily even when you are not a specailist at that field.
